Scanner Effect makes a born-digital PDF look like it came off a flatbed scanner. It combines greyscale conversion, soft edge shadows, per-page skew, gaussian blur, sensor grain and a paper-yellow cast.
Each page gets its own random skew within the variance you set, so a stack of pages looks genuinely hand-fed rather than mechanically identical. Output resolution is configurable from 72 to 300 DPI.
A live preview shows your settings on the first page before you render the whole document, and all processing stays in your browser.

Why is the preview not skewed like the output?
The preview shows the base skew only. Per-page random variance is applied during the final render so every page differs.
What DPI should I use?
150 DPI matches a typical office scanner. 300 DPI is sharper but produces a much larger file.
Does the file get bigger?
Usually yes — pages become JPEG images. Lower the DPI if size matters.
