Publisher is a closed format read through reverse-engineered support, so complex layouts may shift slightly. Simple documents convert well.
Are newer .pub versions supported?
Most are. Very recent files occasionally use features the importer does not cover.
Can I edit the result?
The PDF can be edited with the Edit PDF tool, but it will not convert back to .pub.
