Enforce granular restrictions: disable printing or limit to low-resolution, prevent content copying to clipboard, and lock against annotations, form changes, and page modifications. All security policies are sealed using military-grade 256-bit AES encryption.
Set a Master (Owner) Password to control permissions and an optional Document Open (User) Password to require authentication before viewing.

The tool embeds standard PDF permission flags into the document dictionary and seals them with 256-bit AES encryption. PDF viewers enforce these restrictions based on the permissions.
Can someone remove the locks without the Master Password?
No. The Master Password is required to decrypt and change permission levels.
Is a password required to open and read the PDF?
Only if you specify a Document Open Password. If you only specify a Master Password, anyone can read the document, but printing, copying, and editing will be locked.
